The Fabulous "F" Family

This has to be one of the prettiest families I've ever photographed. You may remember the adorable H's from their shoot last fall, well, I was lucky enough to get to shoot them again, this time with their parents. Thanks, F Family, for inviting me to stroll around your pretty neighborhood and capture these shots for you!

Tolar's turn to shine

And shine he did! I'm sure you'll recognize this handsome fella, he is Ava's big brother and he accompanied her to several of her monthly shoots. This time though, it was all about him and he totally rocked it. This was one my fastest shoots ever (he was that cooperative) and produced some of my favorite images ever, too. Thanks, Tolar, for being such a super star model, hope your Spongebob birthday party was a blast!

Baby Ava is one!

Sweet Baby Ava could almost have her own category on my blog, she was one of my very first models (haha, that tells you how long I've been doing this) and we met every month from 2 months to right before she turned one back in June. Her party theme was pink flamingos, so we did a quick shoot poolside to get some shots for her invitation. Isn't her swimsuit adorable?




Then a few weeks later it was time for the big one year shoot. We did a few in her "fancy" outfit and then got to the fun part, the cake smash. Let me tell you, Ava took the "smash" part of cake smash quite literally. She didn't need a bit of prompting when her mom set the cake down in front of her, she just dove right in and loved every minute of it. It was pretty fun going through the pics and seeing the progression of her going from nice and neat to covered head-to-toe in just a matter of minutes.





There were so many cute cake smash pics, I decided a storyboard would work best to show them off.



Ava had become so used to seeing me that even if I didn't have my camera with me, she'd automatically start smiling as soon as she spotted me. I hope you still have lots of smiles for me next time we meet, sweet girl! I already miss seeing you every month!
